Republic of Korea - Revised Draft of Public Notice on Designation of Product(s) of Risk Concerns and Safety and Labeling Standards

Ministry of Environment has issued revised draft of Public Notice on Designation of Product(s) of Risk Concerns and Safety and Labeling Standards. Draft contains 15 types of household chemical products and biocidal products that are designated as products of risk concerns, spray products and all forms of air freshener are prohibited to use CMIT and MIT, in addition to other measures that strengthen relevant safety standards.

Proposed date of adoption: December 2016

Proposed date of entry into force: 1 January 2017

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
