Mexico - Draft Mexican Official Standard PROY-NOM-058-SCFI-2015: Control devices for artificial light sources used for general lighting purposes - Safety specifications and test methods Secretaría de Economía (Ministry of the Economy) has notified draft Mexican Official Standard is applicable to control devices for artificial light sources used for general lighting purposes. The devices covered include those used indoors, outdoors and in street lighting. The text applies to control devices on the basis of their use and performance, and will therefore be applied regardless of their descriptive or design characteristics or the artificial light source concerned. It covers, but is not limited to, control devices for the following light-source technologies: gas discharge, light-emitting diode, semiconductor or solid-state element, and other artificial light sources. Proposed date of adoption: The notified draft Mexican Official Standard will be adopted upon its publication in the Official Journal as a final Mexican Official Standard. Proposed date of entry into force: The notified draft Mexican Official Standard will enter into force 180 calendar days following its publication in the Official Journal as a final standard. |
