Mexico - Draft Mexican Official Standard PROY-NOM-007-ASEA-2016: Pipeline transport of natural gas, ethane, biogas and coal-associated gas

National Agency for Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection in the Hydrocarbon Sector has published draft Mexican Official Standard PROY-NOM-007-ASEA-2016: Pipeline transport of natural gas, ethane, biogas and coal-associated gas. The notified draft Mexican Official Standard applies to natural gas, ethane, biogas and coal-associated gas pipeline transport systems (henceforth referred to indiscriminately as "gas transport systems") situated in Mexican territory. It covers the design, construction, operation and maintenance of gas transport systems, including those which have not yet been built or are inactive, and those which have already been constructed with alterations to their original design.

Proposed date of entry into force: 60 calendar days after the publication of the final Mexican Official Standard in the Official Journal.
