UAE - Technical Regulation "Labeling – Energy Efficiency Label for Electrical Appliances Part 9: Vacuum Cleaners

Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) has issued draft of technical regulation covers electric mains-operated vacuum cleaners, including hybrid vacuumcleaners.

Exemption:

·    Wet, wet and dry, battery operated, robot, industrial, or central vacuum cleaners

·    Floor polishers

·    Outdoor vacuum cleaners

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
