Russia - Draft Amendments No. 1 to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On safety of agricultural and forestry tractors and their trailers" (CU TR 031/2012)

Eurasian Economic Commission has issued draft amendments No 1 to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On safety of agricultural and forestry tractors and their trailers" (CU TR 031/2012) provide the clarification of the application field of the CU TR 031/2012 and of the conformity assessment procedure of tractors, trailers and components to the requirements of the CU TR 031/2012. Draft  Amendments No. 1 also provide the requirements to the spare components and the requirements to the general safety and to the emissions of harmful (pollutants) agents of tractors engines which operates on compressed natural gas and liquefied hydrocarbon gas, and the actualization of reference standards and of the UNECE Regulations listed in Annexes 1, 4 and 5 of the CU TR 031/2012.

Proposed date of entry into force: Not less than 180 days from adoption of the technical regulation

Final date for comments: 10 November 2016
