Kazakhstan- Draft amendments No. 2 to the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union "On Safety of Perfumery and Cosmetics" (TR CU 009/2011)

Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has issued draft amendments No. 2 to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On Safety of Perfumery and Cosmetics" (TR CU 009/2011) envisages (i) establishment of the terms of "perfume and cosmetic products for artificial tanning" and "seller", (ii) renewal of the requirements on the pH of cosmetic products, (iii) renewal of indexes and the elimination of technical errors in Annexes 1-5, (iv) clarification of certain provisions of the Technical Regulation on the basis of proposals received from interested organizations and individuals.

Proposed date of adoption: Not less than 180 days from adoption of the technical regulation

Proposed date of entry into force: Not less than 180 days from adoption of the technical regulation

Final date for comments: 14 November 2016
