Kazakhstan - Draft amendments No 1 to the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union "On Safety of Agricultural and Forestry Tractors and Trailers" (TR CU 031/2012)

Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has issued draft amendments No 1 to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On Safety of Agricultural and Forestry Tractors and Trailers" (TR CU 031/2012) envisages clarification of the scope of the Technical Regulation and of the conformity assessment procedure of tractors, trailers and components to the requirements of the Technical Regulation; Draft amendments also provide for establishment of the requirements to the components that are spare (duplicate) parts for tractors and trailers and the requirements to the general safety and to the emissions of harmful (pollutants) agents of tractors engines, which operate on compressed natural gas and liquefied hydrocarbon gas, and renewal of reference standards of the UNECE Regulation listed in Annexes 1, 4 and 5 of the Technical Regulation.

Proposed date of adoption: Not less than 180 days from adoption of the technical regulation

Proposed date of entry into force: Not less than 180 days from adoption of the technical regulation

Final date for comments: 14 November 2016
