Department of Health has issued draft Regulations relating to Maximum Levels of Metals in Foodstuffs. The proposed Regulation makes provision for the Maximum Levels of Metals in Foodstuffs under the control of the Department of Health, in terms of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972 (Act 54 of 1972)

Proposed date of adoption: After all comments are taken into considerations

Proposed date of entry into force: After all comments are taken into considerations
Final date for comments: 13 December 2016
