Uganda - Draft Standard DUS DEAS 1:2016 for Wheat Flour

Uganda National Bureau of Standards has publishedDraft Standard DUS DEAS 1:2016 for Wheat Flour. This Draft East African Standard specifies the requirements, methods of sampling and test for wheat flour prepared from common wheat. Triticum aestivum L. or club wheat, Triticum compactum host, or mixtures thereof intended for human consumption. It does not apply to wheat flour obtained from Triticum durum and fortified wheat flour.

Proposed date of adoption: January 2017

Proposed date of entry into force: Upon declaration as mandatory by the Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives

Final date for comments: 4 November 2016
