Sri Lanka – Mandatory Import requirements for products falls under HS 8481

Sri Lanka Standards Institution has issued notification on Import and Export Control Act 1969, which specify that no importer shall import to Sri Lanka the articles set out in column III of the schedule 1(A) of the Gazette Extraordinary No. 1953/27 dated 11 February 2016 unless they conform to the standards set out in the corresponding entry in column IV of the schedule 1(A) and schedule 1(A)(i).
