EU - Draft Commission Regulation amending Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament for the purposes of its adaptation to technical and scientific progress European Commission has issued draft proposal for an 11th adaptation to technical progress of Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (the CLP Regulation) is to enable the Commission to fulfil its commitment made in its declaration of 2 December 2008 to include the chemical names listed in Table 3.1 and Table 3.2 of Annex VI of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 in all Community languages. Currently these chemical names are in English in all EU language versions of that Regulation. Council Directive 67/548/EEC has been repealed with effect on 1 June 2015. As a consequence, Table 3.2 will in all likelihood be deleted in accordance with Article 1(2) of the draft amending Regulation to Commission Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 to adapt to technical and scientific progress ('the 9th ATP').
