Kenya - DEAS 887: 2016 Crude and Semi Refined Palm Oil – Specification

Kenya Bureau of Standards has published standard DEAS 887: 2016 – Crude and Semi Refined Palm Oil – Specification. This standard specifies the requirements and methods of sampling and test for crude and semi refined oils (neutralized and/or bleached) derived from the fleshy mesocarp of the fruit of palm (Elaeis guineensis) intended for further industrial processing.

Proposed date of adoption: 30 September 2016

Proposed date of entry into force: Upon declaration as mandatory by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Industrialization and Investment

Final date for comments: 21 August 2016
