Czech Republic - Draft implementing decree on dual-use nuclear items:

State Office for Nuclear Safety has issued draft implementing decree on dual-use nuclear items. Based on authorising provisions in the new Atomic Act, the draft implementing decree governs:

a)         the list of nuclear items that are dual-use nuclear items;

b)         content requirements for documentation for import or export of dual-use items;

c)         the content of the end-use statement for dual-use items upon export;

d)         the specimen of the end-user statement for dual-use items upon import;

e)        the scope of registered data on dual-use items and how it is retained, and deadlines for providing data to the State Office for Nuclear Safety; and

the particulars of the end-use statement for nuclear items that are dual-use items.

Proposed date of adoption: Derived from the date of adoption of the new Atomic Act (which is the law authorizing the adoption of the Decree in question), estimated date: 4 months following the notification

Proposed date of entry into force: Derived from the date of entry into force of the new Atomic Act; estimated date: 1 January 2017
