Canada - Amending certain regulations made under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act:

Department of Health has issued notification on the application for amending certain regulations made under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The scope of application of the regulations is being revised to match that of the CCPSA by including the manufacture of consumer products.

Housekeeping revisions have been made to the regulations which are administrative in nature and do not introduce any new requirements. These revisions modernize the regulations and update static references.

Proposed date of adoption: 22 June 2016

Proposed date of entry into force: These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered (22 June 2016).
