China - Technical requirements and measurement methods for emissions from light-duty hybrid electric vehicles

Standardization Administration of China (SAC) has issued notification ontechnical requirements and measurement methods of exhaust emission, crankcase emissions, evaporative emissions and exhaust smoke from light-duty hybrid electric vehicles. It also regulates the requirements for durability of emission-control devices and on-board diagnostic system (OBD).

The proposal is a supplement to GB 18352 "Limits and measurement methods for emissions from light-duty vehicles". It is used for the vehicle type test, the inspection of conformity of production and in-service conformity.

Proposed date of adoption: 60 days after circulation by the WTO Secretariat

Proposed date of entry into force: 1 September 2016

Final date for comments: 60 days after circulation by WTO Secretariat
