Uganda - Draft Specification for Antibacterial bathing bars

Uganda National Bureau of Standards has issued draftstandard specifies the requirements and methods of sampling and test for solid antibacterial bathing bars. This standard applies to antibacterial bathing bars cakes or bar supplied in the form of cakes and produced from vegetable or animal oils or fats, fatty acids, or from a blend of all or part of these materials, with or without the addition of rosins or non-soapy surfactants.The standard sets minimum requirements for performance and safety characteristics of antibacterial bathing bar.

Proposed date of adoption: December 2016

Proposed date of entry into force: Upon declaration as mandatory by the Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives

Final date for comments: 5 September 2016
