Brazil - Draft Technical Resolution on maximum limits of contaminants in Children’s foods

Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (Anvisa) has issued draft Technical Resolution No 209, 20 June 2016 regarding the maximum limits of contaminants as inorganic arsenic, total cadmium, total lead and inorganic tin which is tolerated in children's food.

Medium-size companies have 6 (six) months to the adequacy of their products with the requirements of this Resolution.

Microenterprise and small-size companies have 12 (twelve) months to the adequacy of their products to the requirements of this Resolution.

Final date for comments: 26 August 2016
