Israel - Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 909, dealing with instant coffee

To protect of human health or safety, Israel WTO-TBT Enquiry Point has issued notification on revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 909, dealing with instant coffee. The major differences between the old version and this new revised draft standard are as follow:

• Updates the test methods and the requirements and adds references to International Standards (Chapter C)
• Deletes the paragraph dealing with compliance

Adds references to Israel Ministry of Health's Regulations dealing with mycotoxins, heavy metals and pesticide residues

Proposed date of adoption: To be determined

Proposed date of entry into force: Generally 60 days after publication in Israel Official Gazette, Section of Government Notices
