Israel - Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 938 part 2 to be replaced with SI 938 parts 2.1 through 2.4 To protect of human health or safety, Israel WTO-TBT Enquiry Point has issued notification on revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 938 part 2 to be replaced with SI 938 parts 2.1 through 2.4. These draft standard revisions adopt the following European Standards and therefore significantly differ from the old standard: - SI 938 part 2.1 adopts the European Standard EN 572-1: July 2012
- SI 938 part 2.2 adopts the European Standard EN 572-2: July 2012
- SI 938 part 2.3 adopts the European Standard EN 572-4: July 2012
- SI 938 part 2.4 adopts the European Standard EN 572-8: July 2012
Both the old standard and these new revised standards will apply for a period of 18 months from publication in Israel Official Gazette. During this time product may be tested according to the old or the new revised standard. Final date for comments: 60 days from notification |
