Israel - Amendment to the Mandatory Standard SI 5433 part2 pertains to requirements on dimensions and tolerance of barrier pipes and creates a common procedure for designing and testing those pipes

Israel WTO-TBT Enquiry Point has issued notification to the First amendment to the Mandatory Standard SI 5433 part 2. The major change included in this amendment is the implementation of the first amendment to International Standard ISO 15875-2: 2003 from 15 June 2007. This amendment has been developed to clarify the requirements on dimensions and tolerance of barrier pipes and create a common procedure for designing and testing those pipes. It replaces the following clauses

1) the sub-clause 6.1.3 and adds relevant bibliography.

2) the definition and term of 'pipes with barrier layer' that appear in paragraph 3.1.4.

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
