Israel – Mandatory Standard, SI 938 part 1 for Flat glass panels for buildings will be Voluntary

Israel WTO-TBT Enquiry Point has issued notification pertains to general requirements and test methods of Flat glass panels for use in buildings. According to notification existing Mandatory Standard, SI 938 part 1, dealing with flat glass panels for buildings, shall be declared voluntary. This declaration is done as part of the cancelation of this standard and its replacement with SI 938 parts 2 and 3 series.
