Mexico - Mexican Official Standard PROY-NOM-196-SCFI-2015 for telecommunications network

Ministry of the Economy has notified draft Standard establishes the parameters for all terminal equipment that is connected or interconnected via wireline access to a public telecommunications network. All such equipment that is to be imported, marketed and/or distributed in the territory of the United Mexican States must comply with the mechanical and electrical specifications established in Technical Provision IFT-004-2016, or its most up-to-date equivalent, issued by the Federal Telecommunications Institute.

Final date for comments: 60 days after its notification to the WTO.
