Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), Health Canada has issued notification, proposing Maximum Residue Limit: Cyprodinil

MRL (ppm)   Raw Agricultural Commodity (RAC) and/or Processed Commodity

30                     Leaf petioles (Crop Subgroup 4B)

10                     Pomegranates

4.0                    Globe artichokes

3.01                  Small fruit vine climbing, except fuzzy kiwifruit (Crop Subgroup 13-07F)

2.02                  Stone fruits (Crop Group 12-09)

1.5                    Guavas

1.03                  Head and stem Brassica (Crop Subgroup 5A)

0.14                  Pistachio nuts

ppm = parts per million

1The MRL is proposed to replace the currently established MRL of 2.0 ppm in/on CSG 13-07F.

2The current MRL of 2.0 ppm in/on CG 12 will be extended to the revised CG 12-09.

3The current MRL of 1.0 ppm in/on cabbage will be extended to CSG 5A.

4The MRL is proposed to replace the currently established MRL of 0.05 ppm.

MRLs are proposed for each commodity included in the listed crop groupings in accordance with the Residue Chemistry Crop Groups webpage (http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/pest/part/protect-proteger/food-nourriture/rccg-gcpcr-eng.php) in the Pesticides and Pest Management section of Health Canada's website.

Proposed date of adoption :Normally within four to five months from the posting of the Proposed MRL document on the Health Canada website.

Final date for comments: 18 June 2016
