Department of Trade and Industry has issued notification stating specification, which covers the requirements for motor vehicle models of category M2 and M3, and minibuses, not previously registered or licensed in South Africa, designed or adapted for operation on a public road. This notification applied on Motor vehicles for the transport of ten or more persons, including the driver. (HS: 8702), Motor vehicles for the transport of goods. (HS 8704), –  Vehicles: (HS: 87091).
