South Africa - Amendment in the compulsory specification for flexible cords for electrical appliances

NRCS – National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications has issued notification on amendment in the compulsory specification for flexible cords for electrical appliances pertains to Flexible cords for electrical appliances. Insulated (including enamelled or anodised) wire, cable (including co- axial cable) and other insulated electric conductors, whether or not fitted with connectors; optical fibre cables, made up of individually sheathed fibres, whether or not assembled with electric conductors or fitted with connectors. (HS: 8544). Electrical wires and cables (ICS: 29.060)

Proposed date of entry into force: 9 December 2016

Final date for comments: 16 May 2016
