Israel- Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 386 part 2, dealing with condoms

For Protection of human health or safety, Israel WTO-TBT Enquiry Point has issued notification on revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 386 part 2, dealing with condoms. This draft standard revision adopts both the International Standard ISO 23409 - First edition: 2011-02-15 and the American Standard ASTM D6324-11 with a few changes that appear in the standard's Hebrew section. Polyurethane condoms can comply with either of them, but condoms made from 100% synthetic materials or combination of synthetic materials with natural latex rubber should comply only with the International ISO Standard
