Egypt - Compliance with ES 7937/2015 for Vehicles of categories L, M, N and O with regard to electromagnetic compatibility

Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality has issued notification mandating that the producers and importers must comply with ES7937/2015. Producers and importers are given a transitional period of twelve months.

This Standard applies to:

1.         Vehicles of categories L, M, N and O with regard to electromagnetic compatibility

2.         Components and separate technical units intended to be fitted in these vehicles with the limitation given in paragraph 3.2.1. with regard to electromagnetic compatibility of this standard

It is worth mentioning that this standard complies with UNECE Regulation No. 10.

Proposed date of entry into force: 6 November 2015
