Israel –  Introducing new Israel Standards SI 885 for Microbiology test methods for foodstuffs

For Protection of Protection of human health or safety, Standard Institution of Israel has issued notification on revision of 14 different parts of Israel Standard SI 885 series (parts 1.1, 1.2, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 18, 19.1 and 19.2) to be replaced with SI 885 part 20 creating together a coordinating standard with references to other parts of SI 885 dealing with the test methods, requirements, instructions and ways to clarify the cause for food spoilage.This draft standard revision will enter into force 36 months after publication in Israel Official Gazette, Section of Government Notices. During this time all 14 existing parts will apply.
