Israel – Amendment in Mandatory Standard SI 20 for Lighting chains (HS: 8512, 8513, 8539, 940510) 

For Lowering of trade barriers, Standard Institution of Israel has issued notification on first amendment to the Mandatory Standard SI 20 part 2.20 dealing with lighting chains. This amendment changes paragraph 20.11.3 dealing with the external and internal wiring of lighting chains for outdoor use and exempts lighting chains for outdoor use with a car lighter socket connector and that is supplied with voltage up to 24v, from protection against water.
