Kenya – Quality requirements for Fruits and derived products:

Kenya Bureau of Standards has issued notification related to Quality requirements for Fruits and derived products.

This notification contains specifies requirements for fruit juices, fruit nectars, concentrated fruit juices and all other products relating and similar to fruit juice. The standard stipulates the essential compositional, quality, microbiological, contaminants and labelling requirements for fruit juices, fruit nectars, concentrated fruit juices and all other products relating and similar to fruit juice as defined in section 4.2 of this standard.

Proposed date of adoption: June 2016

Proposed date of entry into force: Upon declaration by the Cabinet Secretary State department of Industry, Ministry of Industrialization and Investment

Final date for comments: 26 March 2016
