Vietnam proposed National technical regulation on steel for the reinforcement of concrete

Vietnam Standards and Quality Institute proposed:

 i.          Technical regulation specifies the limit levels of technical requirements to the steels for the reinforcement of concrete, steels for the pre-stressed concrete and epoxy-coated steels for the reinforcement of concrete (hereinafter referred to as steel for the reinforcement of concrete) and the requirements on quality management of steels for the reinforcement of concrete manufactured at home, imported and circulated on the market.

ii.          Technical regulation shall not apply to sections steels, coated steels for the reinforcement of concrete and fiber-reinforced steels.

iii.          Technical regulation applies for the organizations, individuals who manufacture, import, distribution and use of steels for the reinforcement of concrete, the state management agencies and other relevant organizations and individuals.
