Ministry of Health has issued notification proposing a modification of the Food Sanitary Regulation aims to improve and establish the minimum requirements for food traceability and include concepts for its implementation along the food chain. The strategy for regulation is to make the indispensable changes in the Sanitary Regulation of Foods and leave the minimum operational aspects for a standard of generic type of mandatory application for food establishments.
