Chile Modifies Resolution No. 3,418 of 2002 that provides entry requirements for underground structures of vegetative reproduction of ornamental species, as an emergency measure against the plague Xylella fastidiosa Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) Modifies Resolution No. 3,418 of 2002 that provides entry requirements for underground structures of vegetative reproduction of ornamental species, as an emergency measure against the plague Xylella fastidiosa Resolution No. 3,418 of 2002 is amended, in the sense of adding a new additional declaration in Resolution 4, for the species Ranunculus spp .: "The rhizomes of Ranunculus repens come from mother plants that were inspected and analyzed by (specify diagnostic technique) at the optimum time for the detection of the pest, and found free of Xylella fastidiosa. " This phytosanitary requirement will become effective as of the date of publication of this Resolution in the Official Gazette. The shipments of rhizomes of Ranunculus repens from countries with the presence of Xylella fastidiosa, must comply with the phytosanitary measure of Posentrada Quarantine, measure that will come into force six months after the date of publication of this Resolution in the Official Gazette. The importation of plant material and post-entry quarantine must be authorized by the SAG by Resolution case by case, according to what is established in the current regulations on post-entry quarantine.
