Chile Modifies the general specifications for the use of smooth steel bars in reinforced concrete works

The purpose of this regulation is to amend Supreme Decree N ° 1229, of 1940, of the Ministry of Public Works, thus seeking to prevent possible non-compliance with the requirements established for reinforcement bars of reinforced concrete, imported and sold. They market in our country and, additionally, instruct a procedure different from the one currently in place, improving the regulation of reinforcing bars for imported reinforced concrete sold in Chile.
