EU notifies technical criteria of Marine products

European Commission has issued notification proposing Regulation lays down appropriate technical criteria as regards the design, performance, affixing and use of those electronic tags, which can be applied by economic operators producing marine equipment for the EU market and for EU ships on a voluntary basis.

Products covered: Marine Equipment (including inter alia life-saving appliances, pollution prevention equipment, fire protection equipment, navigation equipment, radio communication equipment).
