Mexico proposed Official Mexican Standard PROY-NOM-009-ASEA-2017, Administration of the integrity of collection, transport and distribution pipelines for hydrocarbons, petroleum and petrochemicals

National Agency for Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection of the Hydrocarbons Sector proposed standard is of general application and mandatory enforcement throughout the national territory and defines the stages of data collection, review, integration and analysis, Risk Analysis, inspection and integrity analysis, activities of maintenance and Mitigation, as well as evaluation of the performance of the integrity management process, of terrestrial and marine pipelines, throughout its life cycle.
