GCC notifies Technical Regulation for "Food Packages"

Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) notifies Technical Regulation for "Food Packages - Part 1 General Requirements"

The technical regulation is concerned with the general requirements for all packages of food materials, including metal, glass, plastic, paper, carton, multi-layered textile, and wood packages, in addition to other materials for packaging foodstuffs.

Proposed date of adoption: 180 days from date of publication of approved version.
