Japan amended the List of Regulated Living Organisms under the Invasive Alien Species Act.

Ministry of the Environment amended the List of Regulated Living Organisms under the Invasive Alien Species Act to designate any member of the family Lepisosteidae and any living hybrid organisms of species of the family Lepisosteidae as Invasive Alien Species (IAS).
