Mexico proposed Official Mexican Standard PROY-NOM-012-ENER-2017, Energy efficiency of condensing units and evaporators for refrigeration. Boundaries, testing and labeling methods

Ministry of Energy proposed:

(a) Refrigeration condensing units, which are manufactured for outdoor or indoor installation with refrigeration capacity from 746 W (2 547 BTU / h) to 40 000 W (136 607 BTU / h) at medium temperature and up to 13 000 W (44 397 BTU / h) at low temperature.

(b) Low-profile refrigeration evaporator units which are intended to operate with a refrigerant and are supplied by direct expansion to wet and / or dry conditions with nominal cooling capacities from 0.3 kW to 12.0 kW.
