Brazil proposed sanitary measure on cereal-based foods

The Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) proposed resolution changes the Ministerial Order SVS/MS No. 36 of 13 January 1998, which approved the sanitary measure on cereal-based foods intended for infant feeding to allow the use of other ingredients, provided that safety and suitability for feeding infants above six months and for infants are confirmed, as required by Resolution 17 of 30 April 1999.
