Uganda National Bureau of Standards notifies General Requirements for School Dresses, tunics and gyms

This part of DUS 1687 specifies the materials, cut, make and trim of girls' dresses, tunics and gyms.

Products covered: School clothing, girls' dresses, girls' tunics, girls' gyms. Women's or girls' suits, ensembles, jackets and blazers, dresses, skirts, divided skirts, trousers, bib and brace overalls, breeches and shorts (other than swimwear), knitted or crocheted. (HS 6104), Worn clothing and other worn articles. (HS 6309), - Office or school supplies (HS 392610), - Articles of apparel (HS 420310), - Clothing, clothing accessories, footwear and headgear (HS 681250). Products of the textile industry, Clothes.

Proposed date of adoption: December 2017

Proposed date of entry into force: Upon declaration as mandatory by the Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives.

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
