Brazil proposed Ordinance 185, 6 July 2017

The 'Parameterized Analysis Program' established by National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology – INMETRO under the proposed regulation aims at decreasing the time needed for the processing of import license applications which are necessary for clearance with customs. It applies only to regulated products demanding object registration and provides for the implementation of a parameterized analysis by criteria created by Inmetro. The inscription in the program is voluntary. The regulation constitutes an administrative measure.
