Vietnam - Proposed Decree Detailing and Guiding a Number of Articles of Law on Chemicals

This Decree details and guides a number of articles of Law on Chemicals, including:

1. General requirements to ensure safety in production and trading chemicals.

2. Chemicals produced and traded with conditions in industry; conditions, documents, sequence and procedures for granting Certificate for production and trading of chemicals with conditions in industry.

3. Conditions of production and trading industrial precursors; conditions, documents, sequence and procedures for granting License for export and import of industrial precursors.

4. Restricted chemicals produced or traded in industrial sector; conditions, documents, sequence and procedures for granting License for Restricted chemicals produced or traded in industrial sector.

5. Banned chemicals, toxic chemicals.

6. Plans and measures for prevention and responding chemical incidents.

7. Safe distance for dangerous chemical facilities

8. Classification of chemicals, chemicals safety data sheet.

9. Chemicals declaration, information on chemicals.

10. Chemical safe training.
