EU proposing L(+) lactic acid as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-types 2, 3 and 4

European Commission has proposed regulation approving L(+) lactic acid as an existing active substance for use in biocidal products of product-types 2, 3 and 4.

Proposed date of adoption: October 2017

Proposed date of entry into force: 20 days from publication in the Official Journal of the EU (Application from May 2019) 

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
