Uganda specifies standards for sports footwear.

Uganda National Bureau of Standards issues standard prescribing the performance, requirements, sampling and test methods of sports footwear.

Products covered: Sports footwear: (HS 64021), -- Sports footwear; tennis shoes, basketball shoes, gym shoes, training shoes and the like (HS 640411), - Sports footwear: (HS 64031). Footwear (ICS 61.060), Rubber and plastics products (ICS 83.140).

Proposed date of adoption: December 2017

Proposed date of entry into force: Upon declaration as mandatory by the Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives

Final date for comments: 60 days from notification
