EU authorises conditional use of processed animal protein (PAP) derived from certain aquatic invertebrates

European Commission, Health and Food Safety Directorate-General apprise authorises the use on the EU territory of processed animal protein (PAP) derived from certain aquatic invertebrates which are not covered by a definition of fishmeal but are produced for feeding of fish or are by-catch during the regular fishery operation.

Products covered : HS Code 2301 (flours, meals and pellets, of meat or meat offal, of fish or of crustaceans, molluscs or other aquatic invertebrates, unfit for human consumption; greaves)
