Mexico Radio communication equipment must be comply with the minimum specifications and limits indicated in Technical Provision IFT-005-2016 : Digital Interface to Public Networks

Secretaría de Economía proposes Official Mexican Standard informing that all radio communication equipment having a digital interface at 2 048 kbit / s and 34 368 kbit / s, also called E1 and E3, respectively, and which wish to be imported, marketed and Or distributed within the territory of the United Mexican States must comply with the minimum specifications and limits, as well as the methods of testing the parameters indicated in Technical Provision IFT-005-2016: Digital Interface to Public Networks (Digital Interface at 2 048 Kbit / sya 34 368 kbit / s), issued by a Plenary Agreement of the Federal Institute of Telecommunications. The above with the aim of protecting communications by ensuring that equipment introduced and marketed in the national territory do not cause harmful inferences between operating equipment putting at risk telecommunications networks and services, ensuring interoperability between public networks of telecommunications.

Proposed date of adoption : This Draft Official Mexican Standard will be adopted once it is published in the Official Gazette of the Federation as the definitive Official Mexican Standard.

Proposed date of entry into force : This Official Mexican Standard will come into force 60 calendar days after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation and from this date, all products included within the scope of this official standard Mexican, must be certified based on it.

Deadline for comments : 60 calendar days after publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
