France bans import of fresh cherries from countries where dimethoate is authorized for cherry processing

Directorate-General for Food - Ministry of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry announces prohibition on the importation and placing on the market of fresh cherries for food from EU Member States or third countries where the use of plant protection products containing the active substance dimethoate is authorized in Processing of cherries, excluding

Cherries originating from organic production in accordance with the provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 of 28 June 2007.
