Vietnam - Proposed decree on trading Liquefied Petroleum Gas, Liquefied Natural Gas and Compressed Natural Gas Ministry of Industry and Trade has proposed decree sets regulation on gas-related business and conditions for doing business on gas in Viet Nam, including: - Conditions for granting Certificate of eligibility for importers and exporters of gas;
- Conditions for producers and manufacturers of gas;
- Conditions for granting Certificate of eligibility for trader of gas;
- Conditions for granting Certificate of eligibility for LPG retailers;
- Conditions for granting Certificate of eligibility for stations filling LPG into bottles, stations filling LPG into tanker trucks, stations filling LPG/LNG/CNG into transportation vehicles;
- Conditions for granting Certificate of eligibility for LPG/LNG/CNG supply stations;
- Conditions for granting Certificate of eligibility for producing and repairing LPG bottles;
- Conditions for granting Certificate of eligibility for accrediting LPG bottles;
- Conditions for LPG, LPG bottles made available on the market.
Accordingly, traders shall only import, make available and consume gases with qualities which conform to national technical regulations and applicable standards; This Decree shall replace the Decree No.19/2016/NĐ-CP of 22 March 2016 of the Government on gas business.
