Kenya - Published guidelines to the nuts and oil crops industry

Kenya Bureau of Standards has issued regulations is to provide guidelines to the nuts and oil crops industry  and provide for:The application processing procedures and forms;The conditions for registration and licencing of produce  and product dealers and nursery operators;The recommendation of general industry agreements or contracts between produce dealers and nuts and oil crops producers;The compliance with quality and safety standards;The harvesting, processing and marketing of nuts and oil crops;The filing of statistical returns; The imposition and administration of levies; such other matters as may be deemed necessary for effecting these Regulations.

Proposed date of entry into force : Upon declaration as mandatory by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives 

Final date for comments : 11 June 2017
